INVESTMENT The useful question is not simply how many hours of photography a wedding is “supposed” to have. Coverage depends on where the day begins, whether ceremony and reception are in different places, how many transitions matter to you, whether you want the end of the night documented, and how much breathing room the timeline needs. I keep the experience personal from the first inquiry through the final gallery. Planning focuses on the people and events that matter, the logistics that affect photographs, and the parts of the day that should never feel rushed for the camera. When comparing photographers, look at complete wedding galleries, consistency in difficult light, how family and guests are photographed, what portrait direction feels like, delivery expectations, backup practices, and whether the person behind the camera is someone you want close to you for a large part of the wedding day. Current availability and the right coverage are best discussed around the actual wedding rather than an outdated generic package.
